Well, I made the faux pas of all faux pas and it is costing me. I did a booksigning in another state in which i mailed my books. Upon leaving, they did agree to mail it to the next stop--another state. Unfortunately for me, the second signing was cancelled and the books refused. So back to the first signing. Since then, we've played email tag in an attempt to get those 50 books back to me. I mailed some and carried others but decided to mail them ALL in an attempt to lighten the luggage. Stupid me.
I have missed two booksigning opportunities locally, I have a book signing in 3 weeks, no responses anymore from the previous club and $720 in books floating in the US mail. I'm am on the hook for ordering more.
Let this be a lesson. Never let someone else be responsible for your merchadise. A very PAINFUL lesson here...

Aww that's too bad, and scary. So the books are somewhere in America? Did anyone use a tracking number? Hope those books show up one day soon.
